Business Energy Procurement

At Corp Energy we aim to offer you the lowest prices on the market as we have expert energy consultants with vast experience who select the best deals every day from over 35 suppliers to suit you and your business needs.

At Corp Energy we offer three types of business contract all backed by comprehensive service, support and expertise:

1. Fixed Business Deals

No price rises for the entire length of the tariff from 1 to 5 years, so you can plan and budget with certainty.

2. Flexible Business Deals

You have the most freedom as you’re not tied to any contract – you simply pay the price in the market.

3. Part Flexible, Part Fixed Deals

The commodity price for your gas and electricity is the flexible market price. But the non-commodity parts, such as distribution costs and government taxes are fixed.

Let’s take a look at non-commodity costs...

Non-commodity costs and how to minimise them

Non-commodity costs are also known as third party costs as they come from the government and third parties.

Government taxes and levies include FIT – Feed-in Tariff; RO – Renewables Obligation; CFD FIT – Electricity Market Reform – Contracts for Difference; CM – Capacity Market; CCL – Climate Change Levy; and AAHEDC – Assistance for Areas with High Electricity Distribution Costs.

Third party costs include distribution and transmission network charges such as TNUos the Transmission Network Use of System, plus DUoS – Distribution Use of System BSUoS – Balancing Services Use of System.

Corp Energy can advise you on which government charges/ third party costs you could be exempt from. We can also help you mitigate costs with advice on achieving a 10% saving through good energy management; implementing a long term energy efficiency programme and also shifting some consumption from peak Red Bands to cheaper Amber Bands.

Why wait? Fix now

You don’t need to wait for your existing business tariff to end before signing a new deal with Corp Energy. You can sign up now. This allows a seamless transition to Corp Energy at the end of your current contract.
