Our UK voltage used to be 240V, then became 230V in 1995 to be closer to Europe’s 220V. All modern equipment is capable of running at 230V: you don’t need to waste more energy by using 240V.
If your site has a low power factor and low harmonic levels, it’s ideal for Voltage Optimisation. To save 15% you’ll need to be using a high voltage with lots of voltage dependent equipment such as traditional motors, chillers and some lighting.
